Hi! I’m Laura and I help companies achieve their business goals through clear and beautiful design.

Not only do I have 10+ years of experience in all kinds of web, print, and branding design, but I’ve been called a unicorn for my ability to work in all kinds of illustration styles. Creating clarity through design is a fine art I have refined through working with freelance clients and employers including Yahoo, Squat New York, Stride K12, OpenX, Rule29, and more. I excel in articulating reasoning for my choices for the client throughout the design process, from concepts, to iterations, to final product. I create the chef’s kiss of emotional impact and functionality to make products serve and delight both user and client!

In my time outside of work, I love practicing Spanish, painting, spending time with neighbors and friends in the diverse city of Durham, NC, cycling around town, comedy podcasts, my local church, drawing in local coffee shops, and watching any show about British people revitalizing old houses that I can get my eyes on.
